Samarium has a few docking windows that provide information on the status of different operations that are possible. There are four main docking windows that provide the user with this information.
Logger Window
The Logger shows the present status of the program. Verbose more can be enabled from the Logger properties to increase the details displayed. This is useful sometimes if problems are encountered during design.

Status (Workplace) Window
The Status window provides an overview of the state of the particular design file.

Note- If you finish running FEA and then modify the input data to perform a new analytical run, it automatically switches OFF "Mesh synchronized" and "FEA synchronized". This means that the input data does not match the FEA data. This will occur even if no changes are made to the dimensions, materials, and coil currents. It may or may not be fixed at a later time. If you do want to make changes please do a "Save As" and proceed. FEA data can be saved to file.
Multirun Window
The Multirun window specifically provides information on the status of the multirun. It indicates which threads are still running, and the status of all created multirun steps. Any step that has been completed successfully can be sent to any visualization engine. It is intended to be used as a status indicator and it is recommended that multiruns are allowed to be completed, then the file saved for security against time loss by any unforeseen failure in Samarium, then proceeding with visualization and further processing.

Folders Window
The Folders docking window allows browsing of any folder. The file filter may be set to *.sam to allow viewing of only Samarium design files. Samarium design files can be opened from this window by double clicking on the file. Other file types that are not compatible with Samarium are ignored.
